Secret Life and Make It or Break It Premiere Dates!
It’s official: The Secret Life and Make It or Break It will be back on ABC Family on Monday March 26 at 8pm and 9pm. And here’s an exclusive look at The Secret Life‘s new promo art:
Judge away on this photo. (You know I welcome it. I mean, there are hummingbirds?) Again, the voice in my head reminds me that no matter what I think of this show, Shailene Woodley was good in The Descendants and will now and always be known as Golden Globes nominee Shailene Woodley. What to Watch Now
Last week we were served a double dose of season finales thanks to Skins and Pretty Little Liars. While Skins was so-so for most of the episode, with the exception of Stanley’s epic solo, PLL was scary and dark with so many twists and turns that I was left speechless, confused and frightened! Bravo ABC Family, you won the battle of season finales!
But with PLL gone until June and Skins’ future indefinite, what can we watch? No worries – plenty of drama is coming our way!

"Seriously you guys, Pretty Little Liars gave me nightmares last night. Nightmares! How are leotards and floor routines going to top that?!" Photo: ABC Family

Teen Pregnancy on TV: Educational or Desperate Plot Twist?
It all started with Jamie Lynn Spears, didn’t it? Back in 2007 Jamie Lynn was the good Spears sibling with a sterling reputation and hit Nickelodeon show. Then with an interview in O.K. Magazine it was revealed that little Jamie Lynn was expecting (coincidentally, after she saw Knocked Up). Bye bye Nickelodeon show, so long sterling reputation, hello teen pregnancy epidemic.
The truth is that Jamie Lynn was just part of a growing trend. After 15 years of steady decline, the teen pregnancy rate spiked 5% between 2005 and 2007. Today, 3 out of 10 girls in the United States are pregnant before age 20.
As maternity wards became filled with teen mothers, TVs and movies began featuring pregnant teens with more frequency.

From Juno to Glee, it seems like pregnant teens are everywhere.

Old Teen Stars, New Teen Shows
Tonight was the premiere of ABC Family’s Beauty and the Briefcase. Aside from the lovely message of looking at what’s in front of you instead of imagining your dream guy, the shameless Cosmo plugs, countless posters for ABC Family’s Make It or Break It or 10 Things I Hate About You, and Hilary Duff’s totally inappropriate office attire, the movie is the first film for the Duffster to receive any hype since the dreadful sister act, Material Girls.

For a while viewers were wondering what happened to that girl who played Lizzie McGuire.

But ever since a stint on Gossip Girl, Hilary Duff has been everywhere.
